New Book: Cross the Lines

I am very happy to announce that my new book, Cross the Lines: A Journey to Complete The Marathon Grand Slam, is now available.

In 2008 I knew I wanted to get into better shape, but I also knew I was likely to get bored and quit. A friend suggested I sign up for a marathon and, more importantly, tell everyone I was going to do it so I would not back out. One marathon became two, and then three, and soon I set a new goal: to complete The Marathon Grand Slam, consisting of running a marathon on all 7 continents and at the North Pole. Over the next few years my adventures took me to Singapore, France, Brazil, South Africa, Australia, Antarctica, and, in 2016, to the North Pole. I collected my stories into a book to help people realize that you are never too old to chase a dream, and while there are many things you cannot do today, you might just be able to do them tomorrow…but you won’t know unless you try.
