As a trainer and a coach I need time to think about my clients’ issues, think about new approaches to problems, think about the concerns that will come tomorrow that I need to start considering today. I find, though, that if I do not put some dedicated “thinking time” onto my calendar, or make sure I have some simple tools ready to keep me busy as I’m walking onto yet another airplane, I don’t make the concerted effort to just think about things.
